Beginer Altar Help

I Know this is probably a bad idea, but I was wondering if it would be okay to make an altar removable. What I mean to say is that I would like to be able to fold all my altar stuff into my altar cloth to hide it when I am not using it. Because it is a concecrate sacred place, I was wondering if I should try it. My parents don't know I am starting to practice magick and I don't want them to find out soon. I was going to put it in the hidden room I the attic that only I know about, but it is to small to light a candle. Please help.

Perfectly understandable and ok , unless of course it is an altar dedicate to deity. Lwa for example get rather angry if someone moves the altar dedicated to them, but Your general magickal altar , can be removed and set again from time to time , even though in ideal case , yes it would always be there :)

Thanks for the speedy response! Also, if I were to need one while going on vacation, should I bring mine or set one up there? Thanks again :D

An altar can be anything you want it to be, as long as it is recognizable to you or someone else. It doesn't matter if it is removable, but it would be best to construct a makeshift altar when you travel and arrive at a new destination.

Well If You go on vacation just use some nice natural meterial surface ( wooden chest for example ) or just go outside :)
