I keep having dreams of snakes. Last night I dreamt of a small blue snake with black stripes. I was sitting on the floor and it slithered up to my leftleg. I remember thinking not to move or be scared or it will bite. It never bit me it just wrapped around my left leg and played with my anklet I always wear? The night before I dreamt of a brown rattlesnake. This is the third dream I never get bit but it's like the snake is playing with me? Any interpretations?
Yeah haha that's always the first thing I do. I'm trying to figure it out because I know it's better if I interpret it myself since everyone is different. But I have no clue?
I can see it being interpreted through universal symbolism but i would suggest using your own personal symbolism and judgement on the meaning of the dream.
It is best to try to interpet the dream yourself, things to ask yourself is , what emotions was I feeling during the dream? e.g Scared? Protected?, Happy? content? ect!
What do I feel the Snakes represent to me? Or who do the snakes represent to me? Parts of your unconscious? people in your life? ect!
What do I associate the colour of the snake to?
What does your anklet mean to you? e.g does it have any emotional or spiritual significance to you?
Just ask yourself questions along those lines and see if you get a better understanding of the dream.
From my prespective of the description of your dream it sounds to me like your going through a change of some sort either spiritual or maybe even physical or it may even be your animal totem/spirit guide trying to communicate with you.
Just take the time to analyze anything that stands out from the dream, with your description of the dream, the main things seem to be, Snakes,the colours brown,blue and black and the anklet you wear.
Just try to piece all of the pieces that mean something to together to try and help decipher it's meaning to you.
Thanks guys I'm trying to figure it out will see what happeneds. I remember feeling scared because I didn't want it to bite me but I remember telling myself not to be scared or the snake will sense that and strike. Also my anklet was on my left and I always wear it on my right. I have had it for almost a year its made of hand crafted wooden beads. I bought it at the coachella music festival.
I just remember trying to stand my ground and not show any fear. And the snake was almost smirking and even toying with me almost. And it wrapped up my leg and started playing with my anklet.
