I want comments. lol On the site, in nearly every spell category, there are a few good spells and many flurffy, fluffy...however you wanna say fake...spells. Something is wrong with this! It is like buying a dozen eggs and instead of one being rotten, six are! Or buying a bushel of apples and 3/4 of them are spoiled! lolDoes anyone have suggestions on how this might be fixed?
I just get so utterly disgusted with the false hopes that some "spells" give out. Here is a perfect example: flying "spells"; even if they were possible, do you (meaning anyone) realise just how much experience and energy that would take? Many that come to this site are inexperienced people who are given this false hope. :(

Yes, indeed! There are many children on this site misled by other children! The Moderators do try to keep a check on this sort of thing, but it often seems a hopeless task.
I think one of the problems is the coven Spellcasters [which I am part of] , due to the fact that literally anyone who is able to type (at all, not even correctly) is able to post spells. Whenever I post spells, I make sure that they are not fantastical and wonderful, promising awestriking feats...unfortunately though, not all of my coven-mates are as wise.
Seriously when I wanna have a good laugh, I read some of these"fluffy spells" for that very reason LOL. They're ridiculous indeed but yeah just don't bother. Write your own spells. They work much better too.
Young people are attracted to the magic that has become so popular in recent years. The sites structure is composed of inexperienced young people. And just because they have tried magic a few times they start to call themselves "master". In the past, magic was a taboo, a big no no. Even in the early 1900s witches have been persecuted and mistreated. The violence against witches was almost as bad as during the middle ages. Traditions have been misinterpreted and distorted. The doctrine of witchcraft is now just a silly game. For many young people it is a second life to be a member of this site. They call themselves a witch/ sorcerer to feel special. All so called magicians have made a mistake at some point? Is that not the way you learn? Many spells on this site is humorous and frivolous. Magic is fun, but we need more serious teachers in the subject of the site to be able to maintain the status.

That is exactly the problem. To many, this site is "fun". But there are some who want to learn. It is these that we older ones address. The others can be Harry Potters, or believe anything they wish. They are children who will learn when they grow up; if ever!
