Does it mean anything?

Occasionally and rather randomly I get a hot prickling feeling, often in my face or forehead often but it can be anywhere. It doesn't seem to be attributed to illness - usually I'm perfectly fine when it happens. And its not a pin and needles feeling either. Sometimes its very intense and other times it's very light. I also often get hot and cold flushes. I don't think its anything medical - because I'm not affected in otherwise.

In your varied opinions, can this be attributed to any other phenomenon (i.e. spiritual or magical)?
