Nope, Wicca is a religion, you can do spells as any religion

Wiccans are definitely normal human beings. And anyone can do spells as long as they know how.

Wicca is a modern religion based upon the earlier, pre-Christian practices of Western Europe. What we know of as Wicca today is largely a synthesis of practices brought to public attention by Gerald Gardner and Doreen Valiente in 1954.

The practice of Wicca also includes the magical practice of witchcraft, so essentially all Wiccans are Witches. However, it is important to remember that there are also Witches who do not ascribe to the beliefs of Wicca...so it is correct as well to say that not all Witches are Wiccans.

Neither Wiccans nor Witches are the only ones who can cast spells. Certainly one does not have to become Wiccan and adopt the religion in order to be a spellcaster.

Something to remember here Sonia is that not everyone here is a Wiccan. I am one of those people. I believe that absolutely no religion has it right so far and that includes pagan ones. However i do believe the pagan religions are the closest to getting it right and i cannot deny the power magick has since i have experienced it many times for myself. My suggestion to you is to not confine yourself to a specific sect of anything. Take what you think is right from what you hear and study that way. When you confine yourself to a specific religion you are setting up barriers in your mind which confines and puts boundries on your abilities. I know alot of people may disagree with that because they need the security but that doesnt make what i say untrue.
