ALright, well a friend of mine was intrested or is I should say in shadow magick. And well being the curious soul that I am decided I would look into it for him. And apon doing some research and I stumbled on the neame Raven Digitalis quite a bit. So i went and looked up him and well, has ayone read about this guy like to some extent or read any of his works, because Ii'm caught between thinking ok maybe this guy isn't very legitimate or is just one very excentric soul....can anyone help me get a decision on this guy?

I have studied this practicular subject, and found many things. I have never come across this name, but if you belive that they are true then they most likely are (to some extent). I find that the opinion of someone who has practised for a while is generally right when in this topic. I also know that no two people use this type of magick in exactely the same way. Meaning that this should only be used as a guide line :)

Mostly he is just someone trying to cash in on the Goth trend. He is not someone whose books I like to recommend.

Raven himself is a lovely person, he is a serious practitioner and he is not just cashing in on the goth thing. He is also a rather good dj and I have his shadow magick compendium and its an ok book. Depends what your looking for really.

He's been practicing since 1999 and been a Priest since 2003.He's a great author who takes a sane approach to shadow magic.
