For a long time I've gone for morning walks at my local park. For almost as long I've also known that there is something magical at the park. I think it may be some sort of "portal" (it could be something else but that's what I'm calling it). A couple times I've seen some strange thing out of the corner of my eye at the park (bicycle that wasn't there when I looked), and yesterday I finally took a closer look. Using my wand, I tried to examine the portal and found that it looks like (to me) what a lake looks like when it rains (can't think of another description) and that it exists between a 3 trees in a triangular shape. Today I went for another walk and saw some strange things.
There were an unusual amount of people at the park, normally I just see a jogger or dog walker since it's 6:30 AM. One of them was walking in the tennis courts next to the portal. What was weird was he was wearing flip-flops (it was 50* F), was not walking laps but making a bunch of random turns seeming to walk everywhere, and was walking backwards half the time. I also noticed a crow that looked like it keeping watch, but that could have been coincidence. I also saw a man who walked right past me without even looking at me (he was also wearing flip-flops) and went to a SUV in the parking lot. That car had not been there when I had walked past the lot 5 min earlier, nor was it there 5 min later, but that wasn't the weird part. He came walking from a path that takes at least 15 min to walk and came from the opposite direction of the parking lot (it was as if he appeared out of thin air). I also, briefly, saw one man giving another gasoline (in a public park less than a mile from a gas station) who also weren't there 5 min earlier or later. When I began to think something was up I tried to "sense" the energy around me (I can see auras) and I got absolutely no reading off of any of those people. Even just looking at them normally felt weird.
I think the guy in the tennis courts was drawing some kind of symbol by simply walking around. I have no idea what any of the other people were doing. I'm pretty sure my examination of the portal is what caused these people to show up today. I don't know who any of them are or what there were doing, but I can't think of any better explanation that they are responsible to protecting this portal. What do you people think? If anyone has a better explanation for what I saw (don't just say random coincidence like all skeptics, I could feel that something was up) I'm all ears.
I believe it is a place where key lines cross, in these places, magic is mire prevalent than anywhere else. I would assume you were seeing ghost on another plane acting as they normally do, or just passing through. It would explain the weird happenings to souls who can't accept their death, and the crow which is associated with death watching over them, it being the only guardian if you think. Also, you saw them because you searches out the place, your mind realizing the power around you started to feed from it as you do when you ground. The ley lines boosted your ability to see things around you, ie ghosts/spirits. Take it how you want this is my opinion.
I agree, possibly you saw spirits from another plane of existence walking along doing their daily activities. maybe they ARE the keepers of the gate to another dimension.

sometimes I feel like the trees' limbs are portals to other realms, like, the limbs will grow in a way that makes it look like an entrance or something; all the trees here grow in super twisty ways.
I don't think they were ghosts. I could see them very clearly and so could the other people walking (they don't believe in magic) and I've met ghost before, these people did not feel like ghosts. These people were using some kind of protection spell to prevent their energy from being detected, that's why I didn't see their auras. Before you suggest black auras, know that I can see those too. My current theory is that the portal is an intersection of ley lines. In mythology intersections of ley lines, called leygates, are used as a kind of long-distance travel similar to teleportation. However I cannot comfirm this theory without a map of local ley lines. Today I found out that what I see of the portal is a kind of optical illusion. The portal is in between 3 trees, but it looks like a glass wall between any 2 trees I look through. These people are probably protecting the portal or at least keeping people from just walking through it. For all I know they could be the magical version of people who work in toll booths.
All I can say is you might been tricked by some beings...
I'm not an expert, but i think in magic's point of view for me this is the most acceptable thought
