I'm still a mundane... as far as I know... but I've tried my hand at multiple religious practices and threaded all the commonly mentioned ideas together. One thing that helped me out for spell casting help was using the appropriate language.
Most spells here are from Western Europe or old America so it's easy for me to help you out.
-Hebrew: Considered in most versions of the Bible as the language spoken by Adam and Eve. It is regarded to be highly related to God and the Holy Spirit.
-Latin: The word of Satin and Lucifer wasn't made widespread until the foundation of Christianity and Catholicism from the Roman Empire. Latin is regarded to have strong relations to Black Magic.
There is also a third langauge I've heard of, not sure if you have heard it or not too. The language of the dead, death language. Something like that... I've only heard glimpses of it during exorcisms or possesion rituals.
I hope this helps some people with spell casting.
Use Google Translate if you don't feel like taking classes.

Google translate does not provide fully accurate translations. It gives you the idea, but not the correct nuances or grammar.
While in some cases the vibration and usage of a language is used for specific purpose, most people will tell you that the language you are comfortable with is the best language.
Speech is not strictly necessary either.
We're all mundane, we're all people, we're all magical. *shrug*

The lack of clarity sounds like you are referring to "dead languages." Which is a blanket grouping of languages that are no longer spoken or understood except by scholars. Aramaic, for example, a language spoken in the time of Jesus, is occasionally associated with christian exorcisms. It is a "dead language" because it is no longer spoken.
They would if you wrote a spell and spent hours working on translation and pronunciation.
It's not so much about the language, as it is about how much effort and energy you put into the working. If you put it into a language you don't fully understand, yes, it may come out wrong somewhere in the words, but it won't necessarily make the working flop. It's your energy and intent that does it, not what words you speak. Though the words act as a guide to it.
However, my suggestion on using languages you don't understand in summoning or calling is don't. You may run into someone who cares about what you are actually saying and you could accidentally insult them.
THAT'S NOT TRUE.. language can do make a difference in your spell casting.. why? because there are certain words that contains powerful vibrations (like the runes if vibrated correctly).. there are also these so-called words of powers that must be maintained during spell casting.. (especially when you are invoking to higher beings).. you cannot achieve the word's full potential (i mean its power if it has powerful vibration) if you won't say it with its native language..
blessed be..
i'm not against anyone here.. its just my opinion about this..
My guess is, and do correct me if I'm wrong, what you're looking for is how to put the energy of sound into a spell. If sound energy can shatter glass, I'm quite sure it can be put to good use. People across many cultures use bells in their places of worship for a good reason.
Having said that, ancient spells in extinct languages have a vibe because they were created and perhaps even practiced by people in a time when these languages were like second nature to man. So, again, this is a just a personal point of view, I believe that if you perform a spell using a language, then pick a language you're most comfortable with, because it's important to understand something to believe in it. And if you believe in what you're doing then the spells seems to work better... Just my pov.
