I need help with what the Pentacle symbolizes. I recently found a medallion with a pentacle and kept it but, i 've been told by many people that it's Satan's symbol, so im Satanist. Other people called me Sadist. I din't know. I thought it was only the symbol of the elements. Can anyone help me with this?
Depends, if the pentacle is upside down it is usually associated with satan etc. most people believe it to be evil but that is absolutely up to you, you believe what you want.
Though traditionally the pentacle is associated with pagan practices which the church would have condemned to be evil and lead onto the beliefs and what most people without the knowledge would associate it to be.
The pentacle symbolizes many things. Sometimes the five element (the four basic elements plus the element spirit). Sometimes resembles the five senses.
perhaps you might like to do some research yourself, whether from books or the internet.
For Spiritual Satanists we see the pentacle upside down to restore energy to the earth. We relate it to Satan/Enki since we see him as giving the gift of magick to humans. Also since Enki was the Sumerian God of magic
Based on my understanding. The upside down pentagram as described by Eliphas Levi was the domination of the 4 elements or the material world over spirit, in other words the destruction of the belief system of God and only to rely on materialistic pleasures. Eliphas Levi thought this was evil so did other members of the group. Aleister Crowley thought otherwise, He thought of it as a "tool" for magick and thus with his vast curiosity used it in some of his Thelemic rituals.
It may also relate to the God Baphomet. Which Crowley usually talks about in his Libers.
Other meanings are satanic like making it the head of a goat. In the early christian church they created the devil to look like the God of the hunt in Wicca. That is why paganism was banned and was hidden. The goat is very much the same image of the devil thus it is the perfect symbolism for satanists.

It is worth noting that Eliphas Levi's exploration of the inverted pentagram/pentacle is somewhat unique. Up until that point it wasn't really associated with evil beyond its associations with magic.
Upright, the pentagram is often a symbol of invocation, where as inverted it can be used sometimes as a symbol of banishing. It should be said that the pentagram, even when upright, can be used in banishing. The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram is a good example of this.
In general terms, the pentagram does represent the elements. The four lower points are the elements, where as the fifth point represents the spirit, or the divine, and its influence within all things earthly and spiritual.
