It depends on you... If you believe in it maybe yes but if not then its a no... Sory i'm no spellcaster

I go more by, spells don't work -- magicians work :-P Spells just give structure, so sometimes what works can be different for everyone, depending on how comfortable or generally powerful they are.
Like I tend to use short rhyming chants to get into the mood of casting, but for others rhymes are too affected and fake.
I don't like to use imagination, thinking that real results should surprise me (especially with summoning-- there ought to be a marked difference between an ancient entity and an imaginary friend,) but for others it's the best way to train your mind to attune to psychic energy...

I have to agree with aeon wings, it is not the spell but the user. my mother has tryed some of the splls on this site and the did not work for her, but when I tryed them they did.
you need to beleive in yourself and the magick if you want them to realy work for you.

everyone says you must believe in the magick for it to work, and that is true. but yuo must realize that magick is energy that you have inside of you that you gather, give a purpose to (throug rhyming or chanting or simply speaking) and then release to do your will.

its like hitting someone, you pull back your fist, aim, and fire, and no one can be sure what will happen after that.

and just like a fist, if your not trained well, you will probably miss.

believe in yourself! if you can do that then you can practice magick. just dont expect immediate results, magick means next to nothing if not followed up by more mundane actions to reinforce it

Hmm i like your interpretatoin there Luzifer, i spose it is like throwing a punch, though with punches you dont get the majical numbers where some spells have to be repeated a set number of times to work espeically depending on your strength of being
