A question of ethics

Is it morally right to use a spell to get two people who have broken up back together? I just thought I'd throw this question out there and see your opinions on the matter. Thank you.

it will be morally right if you have the consent of the two people you want to cast a spell on..

or you can use reconciliation spell to give them higher chance to be together again, but casting them spells that will force them to be together again, i don't think so..

namaste.. ;)

Honestly , I do not see a spell that is used in such a way where chances are given to a pair for them to re-find their feelings for each other as morally wrong.

I also do not consider a spell where emotions of love get taken out from each of the two persons to each other as morally wrong. In such instances , The spell isn't the one that are forcing them and making them to be together , it is simply just giving a nudge for them to give each other a chance and mend the severed bonds between them.

So my answer is No , if you cast it in such a way where they simply mend and heal their bonds between them or get instances which may get them together . But Yes if you cast it in a very constricting and forceful way.

It just depends on how it is cast in my opinion. So my answer will change accordingly on how a person cast such a spell.

In magic, there is no absolute notion of "evil" and "good", so any action can not be clearly evaluated as "good" or "bad." But there is a rule when in doubt - do not do. Otherwise, follow the reverse shock.

It is totally immoral!

I once used a Remmmos Salas on an unsuspecting man, and the result was catastrophic.

and if someone on these two people cast a break- up spell?
then you have every right to remove the spell, and connect people together again.

I agree with Red Mercury about the break-up spell. If casting this spell is to repair what another broke then it just might be okay.

Other than that I view it as very wrong. If one or both parties was of sound mind and chose to end the relationship, then that is their will. You can disapprove of it, you can argue it with him, but you can't just undo it. The free will must be respected.

Sometimes not having enough information can lead to doing something you think is a moral decisions when in reality it is not. Moral and ethics vary from person to person. Since there is not enough information to answer the original question my advice is to leave the two alone there is a reason they are not together at this point. If they are truly meant to be together nothing will stand in the way of their relationship.

As said by kts, moral and ethics vary depending on the person. What you see as 'right', others may not.

Personally, I wouldn't preform such a spell. However, we have little information on the circumstances of the break-up. If they both abide to the break up, and the relationship was going nowhere, or was abusive, etc.. then the answer is no.

I also agree with Chiron and Mercury's point. If casting this spell is to repair what another broke then it may be acceptable. Obviously, we do not know if this was the case.

I am sure if they are 'meant to be', they will end up back together in the end.
