Teacher Requests

There are a lot of people asking for teachers here. Can't there be a topic specially for these requests?

I agree there should be. However, I believe The Craft cannot be taught by reading alone. It is why I do not teach on this site; though I do teach sometimes to my Pagan group. We meet once a month.

I agree with the both of you. I see these requests popping up in all the forum topics and few actually even get responses from other members.

However I don't think you can teach something like magic over the internet like this, some things you have to show the student or demonstrate technique depending on what exactly you're teaching. I do though believe it's better to mentor in these cases, mentoring would allow you help them along using just words but in the end they're still teaching themselves.

So perhaps that could be the difference, instead of looking for teachers a thread could be about finding mentors or tutors.

Just my thoughts.
