Help a newb out ?

I've heard about things on the site that I don't understand like the Triple Moon Goddess and key of ( varied ) and a few others. Can anyone explain this to me or direct me somewhere I can read ?

The triple moon goddess is a wiccan goddess who is called by different names,she has three main aspects,maiden,mother and crone or hag,the stand for the three main lunar stages,maiden is the waxing moon,mother is the full moon and crone is the waning and new or dark moon.

In Wicca she is Called the Lady or Diana, she is commonly confused with Diana (Artemis) from Roman Mythology and Hecate from Greek Mythology.

And the Key question I believe you are referring to the Key of Solomon which is a sort of Christian Ceremonial Magick text that teaches you how to "Summon" Angels etc as well as how to be rid of "Demons" which I think is a load of hoo haa

I'm a newbie and I know some spells but some of them don't work,why is that?
