I want to cast a spell.

I've chosen the spell I want to cast. I'd like to do the third eye spell, "My thoughts are as strong as the sunlight. My vision is clear and I have second sight." Any suggestions on casting a first spell? What spells are easiest, which did you use when you were young?

You know I actually have been wanting to do that same third eye spell too.. But I've held off. The very first spell I tried happened to be make your eyes red, and it worked a little. And then a warm/cool body tempature spell. I'd say just meditate, and do relaxation techniques daily, until you feel your ready. I hope this helped :)

And also something about, you're supposed to open your inner chakras first before in order to open your third eye..

1. root chakra
2.sacral chakra
3.navel chakra
4. heart chakra
5.throat chakra
6. third eye chakra
7. spiritual chakra( must have a strong root chakra to open this.)

No. Opening your chakras is not necessary for magick, though it's an important part of spiritual and magical health. It's also an important part of pathworking in Hermeticism, but for more basic castings and much of low magick your chakras don't need to be any more open or active than anyone else, they just can't be horribly messed up.

for the maker of the thread, in order for you to have success in casting spells first you should consider your intentions, then you know how to direct your energy to a specific purpose.. why not, before casting spells study the basics first?

Right on. If magick were as easy as a two-line rhyme wouldn't a lot more of us be enlightened or flying or full of something else all impressive and wizardly?

If this is your first spell you should start with something simple, just to get your senses tuned in, you could do a healing spell or a ritual to get in touch with the Goddess within/or the Gods you choose for your path, make a connection first..It is better to practice a little even if u have certain perquisite. As gifted as we all can be, there are other forces in place when you work magic and need to be acknowledged and respected. Also do remember always to give something in return (some volunteer in the areas you like or make a donation or you favo charity), everything is connected and we are vessels whatever we send out there it will get back to us.
