Does anyone else use them? I have a deck and absolutely love them since I just can't seem to get into using tarot decks. But they don't seem to be as popular as the traditional tarot deck.
I use tarot cards and oracle cards. The both decks works well for me. It's not that many people don't use oracle cards for they do but it's just that some have a preference. Like for some people tarot cards works well for them others do not same versa goes for oracle cards.
I use mainly oracle decks ,because i find myself more attuned to them .I use tarot only when i need very detailed answer .Also you can combine both if you wish and feel comtable with .Sometimes i do combine them too for some extra insight if the answer that Tarot gave me is not that clear .So what i found is that oracle decks are more appropriate for daily use and answering day to day questions .Tarot is better for detailed answer and when you do reading for complite stranger over the phone or internet .And the mixture of them will work in both cases providing extra insight to the matter .
I personally love my oracle decks. I would have to say that more people use tarot because the methods are typically a bit more rigid while oracle is a lot like scrying.
I've just got my first set of Oracle Cards - they are Fairy based. I have cleansed them with sage, quartz and a blessing to the Godesses' and Gods. Can anyone give me any general information regarding Oracle cards - especially what people have found can be derived from them.
NKB, I'm just a beginner, but from what I've learned so far, they're very good for getting in tune with your intuition. Like mentioned above, Tarot cards are for more specific answers. Oracle cards help you find the answers that are already there. At least that's how they have worked for me.
When I bought mine, I was told to keep them on me at all times. I put them in a rune/card bag and keep them with me at my desk, under my pillow and in my purse or pocket. I've been told to talk to them..but I haven't tried that yet. I always do a divining spell before I use them to make sure my reading is clear.
My main purpose for using them is to keep me on the right path, rather than give me answers to tough questions. Like, instead of "who will I marry?" it's "should I go on this date?". Instead of "will I be successful?" it's "am I taking the right steps to reach my goals?".
i do, i really like them. i use them when i don't feel like doing a tarot reading. i like their size and the design of my cards a lot. think i might use them more, i've kind of stopped since i started with my tarot.
