I got my 1st wand.

I got my 1st wand last night and I wanted to know what kind if spell(s) could I do with it besides healing?

It's made out of Red Oak wood with a Clear Crystal on the top.

You can use your wand to really do any type of spell, the things you add to it will just make the wand better in certain areas. For example, if the clear crystal you talked about was quartz then your wand will have better healing attributes and will add power to other spells.

I would suggest doing a quick journal in your BoS if you have one. Getting your first wand is an experience you will want to remember and be able to look back on.

Wands can direct the flow of energy.

I just made my 2nd wand just a peace of wood from a pine tree from a local grave yard. I look for something that is alive but with a dieing branch then I would place my hand onto the tree and ask it if I can remove it. If I feel inside that it is OK ill remove it. I also did this on the 31 right before midnight.

their are many things to consider when getting or making a wand. every thing from the wood use to the ges chooses to add to the all. they all have certian properties for magic use and some combos works best then others but the whole experience is persona. when making a wand or staff ad decorating makes i more personal and assurence of quality. just keep in mind the properties and element you add to your wand. such as protective runes and seals
