Yes, but its not something you can learn overnight. It takes years and years of meditation, psychic exercise, and practice.

An easier alternative to strive for is to have a shared astral experience with the person, or perhaps to share a dream together. You might want to investigate both. No matter what, whatever energy you send to them will be recieved one way or another - even thoughts.

Or you could just simply pick up a phone and call them.

Not quite that simple Zero, not at todays going rates for phone bills.

Either way you look at it, it's not quite the same as "chatting." It is based more on simply conveying emotion and knowledge and the other individual being capable of likewise understanding/conveying said knowledge and emotion.

Astral projection, as described as an alternative, is not so different than other "telepathy" methods.
