I'll warn you, with such a jump from being a complete empath to doing all emotion, you may less yourself down a much less intended road. Turning yourself "cold hearted" (so to speak) will make others avoid you, may lead to a depression, or worse, suicide. My suggestion, look in to control over your empathy. Instead of tuning out all emotion, just try tuning out external negatives (negative feelings that aren't yours).
