How to take over a coven?

I wish to take over coven but i'm not sure how to do it? I understand all of it but i don't have any reputation,so do i have to have something special on my profile etc.. to take over coven or? -thanks

The following covens have inactive leadership. You may apply to take over one of these covens.

You are already in a coven and can not lead one. You must resign from your coven before you can lead one.

General rules for leading a coven:

1. The general goal/theology of the existing coven should remain. A "Black Magic" coven can not change its purpose to be about white magic (for example)
2. Write a short summary and a detailed description of your coven. View your coven's page, if it doesn't look well formatted, reformat it.
3. When you have 13+ members, upload icons and logos for your coven. Follow the image guidelines exactly, failure to do so is the quickest way to lose your coven
4. You should leave exisitng spells/articles, but feel free to edit them if you think you can do a better job at writing them

If you prove yourself in the forums and chatter you can get ranked up. You also have to have an account that is old enough to be promoted (3 month minimum). You can apply to take over a coven if your account is old enough but just because you apply doesn't mean you will get picked to lead the coven. The most qualified people will be picked to lead the covens and the decision on who that is takes time, so those are just some other things to keep in mind.

You will also need to have not previously led a coven under the name under which you apply, and not have applied to another coven. You must also resign from your current coven and remain without a coven until the decision is made. After this, your account will be either made priest/ess, or your account will never be promoted.
