Is it possible to meet deities on the mental plane and astral plane?

Yes, sure! But you need to be careful and respect all deities and spirits (humans too) in a.p. And about the mental plane, you can read some stuff about lucid dream too.

Yes you can but when I did that I never knew I was astral projecting when I did it but I was younger

I think its possible I've never meet a deitie on there only once when Athena called me to a book shop where a meant an owl who I think was a sign that shes my deitie so yes I think its possible

Well, I think it depends of what do you believe, but you could find everything in the astral plane, and in different forms.

I remember of the book of Solomon's Key, on the invokation of the spirit in the mirror, he says to spirit come for him to come in a different form, and friendly.

What about knowing if the entity you met is truely a diety? I read in one book that stated that sometimes different entities can be tricky and act like a deity even though they are not. It is then best to verify them by asking specific questions (without actually telling them what deity you are seeking) that would reveal if they truely are one.
