I was learning about the ups and downs of using ouija boards and one thing about that struck my interest the most was the zozo phenomenon. have any of you heard of this if so what is your take on it and have you ever encounter zozo?
i've heard about it, it's just a myth used to scare people. while a Ouija Board is a powerful tool, our subconscious mind can play tricks with us and unknowingly move the planchette ourselves and make up stories like Zozo to frighten us. same goes with who you work the board with, they could mess with it to scare you. i've used the Ouija board a couple times over the years, and usually i just speak with the same couple spirits, i've never encountered a Zozo, but i have met a couple angry spirits, and i have learned that spirits do lie, some just want to scare you, so if you ask them if you're Zozo, they might say yes because either they think you want to speak with Zozo and they're lonely, or they see you're scared and want to play a prank for fun.
when i was a kid my friend use to play with Ouija Boards [i was scared of them most of my life so i didn't use one until i was 16 and even then i was worried] she use to tell everyone stories about the Ouija Board and she said the devil communicates through them, but he uses the code name Mr. Smiley, so if you were ever using the board and a ghost called himself Mr. Smiley, it was the devil and you needed to stop immediately, go outside, spin around 3 times clockwise, throw salt over both shoulders and say a chant. [can't remember the chant exactly] my point is people lie, spirits lie, i've never come across a Zozo personally [nor a Mr. Smiley] as long as you use the board correctly you should be fine.
He has become popularised recently due to a recent film. By doing so and people thinking about him and directing thoughts at him I would argue it creates a thoughtform with a little kick. Probably nothing worse than astral fodder.
it's a demon [some feel is the devil, or similar to the devil] that speaks through the Ouija Board. it starts out nice, but becomes mean, and eventually will attack the people who live in the house. i personally feel it isn't real, especially since all the stories/testimonials i've found are copy/pasted to different sites. the main one i've found says the same thing; the person is experienced with the board, but now they're so terrified they refuse to speak the name 'Zozo' out loud, and then proceed to tell the reader of how it attacked the writers girlfriend and/or baby girl.
the best advice i can give for anyone who uses a Ouija Board, use it properly, cast a circle, cleanse the board and the room after every use. be sure to cast protection spells on yourself and your home regularly depending on how often you use the board. if you believe Zozo is real, don't tempt fate.
I have come across this forum trying to find out how to control this so called demon, ZoZo.
Just today, a few friends and I decided to play with an Ouija board. We encountered ZoZo and he has told me everyone playing will die tonight. I had communicated with this demon the day before yesterday. That same night, my friends experienced a silhouette opening the door and their radio started cracking up.
I still don't know if this is a friend moving the planchette, but it seemed pretty realistic...
