How do I purify my Wand?

I made a new wand but am afraid to use it until I purify it. I don't want my spells to turn back on me.

I'm glad that you're so eager to purify it, but you don't need to be worried about spells backfiring from unpurified tools. Although it's highly recommended to purify tools, it isn't a requirement.

To purify it, you could wash it with moon water, or by leaving it out in the sun/moon light for a day. While doing this, visualize the wand being purified by the rays of the sun/moon.

Hi! According to Scott Cunningham's Encyclopedia of herbs, it says that if you take a lemon and squeeze out the juices and then mix it with water, it can be used to cleanse and purify any magical object including your wand :)
