How can I gain experience as a spell caster? What are the best ways to start off?

Well knowing which is fake magic(k) and which is real, would help, umm meditation would also help. Practicing, having patients. Knowing what you are doing, having faith. Stuff like that.

start with mediation and energy work. connect to the elements around you. when you want to start casting spells, simple baby steps, try a candle spell. be sure though you're casting for things you need, and not just because you want to see what happens. magick should only be used when it's needed, not for fun, to practice, or because your board. too much casting can leave you drained of energy, also, the universe isn't a fan of one person casting numerous spells at once, so you might also feel some negative effects from the Threefold Law.
