Looking for a Mentor!

I am a beginner on all things magic. And, I would really like if an more experienced someone could help me. I'd like to start learning. My mother is Wicca but left when I was younger and never taught me a thing. If anyone could help that would be amazing! Thank you so much!

It is ok to be an independent witch. I think you should learn and master all of the basics here on this site, alone ( it wouldn't hurt you ).
And then when it comes to something hard or specific like astral projecting or something like that, you should ask for a teacher.
What about your father ? Did he know she was Wicca ? If so, shouldn't he know at least a little ?
If those questions comes out too nosy or you don't want to talk about it. it's fine.

Be careful who you ask for guidance from BriRattray. If you truly want to learn about what you are seeking for, hit the books. If not then go and do your research on the people who offer your help. Be picky, be choosy. You want to be taught the right information in a productive manor and not everyone who offers their help can give that.

I dont teach the basics but i you have specific questions you can ask me and ill help where I can. I urge thought to not take a persons word and no other. I someone told you the moon was made of cheese would yiu believe them full hartedly or do somr reaserch and ask others?
