Do u always need to cast a circle before doing a spell in order for them to work?

From what I've seen not everyone casts a circle when casting spells. It can be a useful practice though and there are some simple ways of casting a circle.

No the circle is not a necessary tool in spell casting, somepeople casts circles because it keep unwanted energies from entering, also unwanted intities.

Some people consider the circle a barrier of energy that keeps energy contained and bad energies out,others think it is just a doorway to another dimension or world or something like that.

Yes the circle is a symbol of protection
If it something that could bring things that are very negative you cast a circle
Because in my opinion when you do a spell you open yourself to the world

In my opinion I have to say no, you do not need to cast a circle for your spells to work. For me I practice some folk magicks and I personally dont cast a circle every time I cast a spell or do a working. If you are just starting out then by all means if you feel comforted by casting a circle before working any type of spell then by all means do so.

You don't need to cast a circle when the spell is short and really couldn't bring a negative thing to you
But yes with a lot of powerful rites

I depends on what belief system or path you are following. Some will say yes, others will say no. I personally do not do so, I feel they're a waste of time.
