If your spells are consistently failing then I suspect that the problem is that you lack a basic understanding of how and why magic works. Casting a successful spell involves much more than simply finding something on-line, chanting some words, lighting a candle or two, etc. It also involves a clear understanding of grounding and centering, visualization, focus and intent, how to draw and direct energy, etc. If you haven't managed these basic steps then your spells will continue to fail.

"Modern Magick" by Donald Michael Kraig
