My mother told me that satanism is the same as paganism, please reply to show her its not true

Satanism and paganism are two very different things. Santanists dont even worship satan, and pagans worship multiple gods. Each religion has their own "paths". If your mother believes that both religions worship satan, and this is the connection she is trying to make, then she is wrong.

Santanists are individuals (sorry if I misspelled that) that follow their own route. Pagans are modern day witches. They are more interested in multiple gods. There are Norse-Pagans and regular pagans.

Not every Satanist is evil or mean, some of them are very kind and nice. Their emotions are like ours. They are only human.

It sounds as though your Mom may be one of those Christians who believes that anyone who does not follow Jesus is therefore a Satanist. That of course is far from the truth. Heck, most Pagans do not even believe that Satan exists. They worship many different Gods, but Satan isn't one of them.

And even many Satanists don't worship Satan. LaVeyan Satanists view humans as the highest beings in creation and are all about the self, not some evil entity.

Shes athiest though
