So To help a spell work what should I do...and how do I know if a spell is working

Depends on the spell. A purification or protection doesn't really need anything beyond energy. A love spell on the other hand, you need to talk to new people, maybe change some habits, to help the spell. A job spell won't work unless you pass out a few applications. Weight spells especially need your effort. These spells work as a motivater, or helps you see results faster. It won't work if you sit on the couch with a large bag of potato chips, you need to work out and eat healthy. Beauty spells are similar. If a spell is not needed or deserved then the spell will fail. Study more about spells before casting.
