I was searching for a job for almost six months before January of this past year, when I found out I was pregnant. Because of mental and physical health concerns, I ultimately chose adoption for my little boy.. I already have a daughter and I thought it was the best thing to do to help get my family stable. I don't have many friends and I don't have much family support, so it's been hard.
I had him in October and I've been looking for a job since November. I've put in over 60 applications, I'm signed up with three different temp agencies.. but no one's hiring and I don't have a lot of experience. I live in a town with less than 17k people, there just aren't a lot of opportunities for me..
I'm still looking hard for a job, but I'm running out of ways to cover my bills here. I'm getting really scared. Is there a spell I can use to either help me get some income? I've looked around on the site here but I'm skeptical, some of them just sound ridiculous and I honestly don't know which ones would work best for me.
Any help or advice would be absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much in advance!
You can always ask for help from family or get government help if you are eligible. Sometimes Magick doesn't work if you rely on it... You should definitely look for more options. Even if you do find a spell to help you, you will still have to take measures for upkeep of the spell (Continue to put out resumes and call, for example).
Dust your resumes and applications with allspice and basil (nicely ground).
You can also sprinkle it around your house if you are doing online applications.
When you go for an interview or to turn in an app., if you can get grains of paradise, put 9 of them in your shoes (remember to take them out when you are done because sometimes they can leave an unpleasant and small rash.)
high_priest: I would be so appreciative if you could share!
Euranu: I understand that magick only goes so far, that's why I said I'm still looking. And as for family, I mentioned that I don't have much in the way of family support. There aren't any government programs in my area that simply hand out money, so although I do qualify for SNAP, that does nothing in the way of helping me cover bills.
* Olive oil.
* One green candle.
* One candle holder.
* Apple, lilac, or vanilla incense ( scented candles also work )
* A fire-proof plate, to burn your incense or candles.
* Friday
This ritual, is to be performed, on a Friday.
Light your chosen incense, or scent candles, and let their scent fill the room.
Dab the green candle four times, with the olive oil, then place it in the holder.
Light it, and say a prayer, stating exactly what you need/want.
Let the green candle burn down, and out.

Do this every friday, until you gain what you seek.
A Spell that Banishes Poverty
Say goodbye to poverty with this spell that is popular in the Caribbean and with spell weavers who live in the southern states of the USA.
You will need:
A small bowl Salt Sugar Rice An open safety pin
Fill the bowl with equal amounts of sugar, salt and rice. Put the open safety pin in the middle of the bowl. As you do so use your own words to ask the elements or the deities you believe in to ensure that no matter how long you live you will always have food in your stomach, money in your pocket and a roof over your head.
If you have a garden, put the bowl in a sheltered spot. Or if you live in a flat you can put it on a sheltered window ledge. When the contents of the bowl are gathering dust, they can be replaced with suitably consecrated ones whenever necessary.
Stare at the green candle. Think of gold, think of money, think of coins. Anything that has to do with money.
Now imagine that money is coming to you like your body is sucking it in imagine your body gleam that color. Replay this a few times in your head, then say:
"money is powerful, money is mine. money for me, none for thee. on the ground in the sky. money will be all mine. money is every where. Now make me take it from there."
I do not like the terms used to describe that work. First, this is folk magic, conjure work, hoodoo. I do not know where the term "southern spell weavers" come from, especially since most do not believe what they are doing is a spell. The work is done typically with a bowl of sugar and an open safety pin. The worker can add more, like what he added above, as long as it doesn't contradict the intent of the work, which is to draw and keep money flowing in the house. Five finger grass, cinnamon, money itself, a lode stone, a magnet, bible verses, the list goes on. The work would be kept in the house and out of sight to draw money into the house, not the garden. Also, there wouldn't be any other deities or the elements called to come into the work. Only the Christian God would be prayed to or a saint would take the work. Now, this is optional, not a requirement. Just don't add the elements or pagan deities into the work. (and the work is so simple, I do not even see the point of it, if going at it from a rootwork perspective)
