Take rose petals that have a scent
and boil them until the water smells of a fragrance

My favourite way is to add two parts spring water to one part petals, boil them until they become flaccid and pale, strain the botanicals and then pour it in a pretty bottle. Also, adding a teaspoon of vodka will help it to keep.

I've read that you have to get a rose flower and soak it in a bowl of water for a day (and night), and to take in what it's associated with, drink it BUT MAKE SURE THAT IT IS SAFE TO CONSUME BY LOOKING THE DANGERS OF DRINKING ROSE WATER UP FIRST.
I hope this helps.

I prefer to bruise the petals in oil (sweet almond gives it a nice nutty undertone when finished, but not recommended if you have nut allergies!), heat it up with a double boiler method, let it cool and sit for at least a day, and then I strain it. I make large batches and divvy it up into smaller containers so I can either give them as gifts or infuse with various intents for spellwork.
