spell for stopping rain

hey i just made this and im not sure if it works can people try it and modify it to see if it works?

"gods of the blessed skys, hold the rain up so high, drop it on the
(place where its needed nearby) where its use is best
then go have a well earnt rest"

when i did it a patch of cloud stopped and made a hole in the clouds

also i had this other way i channeled energy into my arms then sent it out my finger tips(visulizing a snake of fire coming out of each finger tip then twisted together in a fiery dance) then a very small hole became in the clouds (probably because i had very little energy left in me) so if people can try these ways and give me feedback wether good or bad it would really help

P.S this is my first shot at making a spell
