How to gather energy?

Hello all, Im new to this (just started studying yesterday) and I dont know how to gather energy, which from what ive heard is required for most spells here.I heard thst you can get energy by summoning demons , but I'd prefer a More safe and natural way.Also, how do you tell the difference between a real spell and a fake spell on here?I know that a lot of them are real, but Some seem fake, like I saw one thst was supposed to physically change you into a mermaids which was probably spam.

1) To gather energies,The basics of magick work well. The basics are Meditation,visualization,grounding,centering,circle casting etc.There are some links on the General info thread about the basics.
2)Spells which claim to physically change into something are fake. Magick comes from nature.
3) Starting with spells are not the right way. You have to know how magick works. Research!
4) You can't summon something.That's fluff. Say to invoke something .

There is realy no need to do all that what the other guy said, there is residual energy everywhere, 24/7/365 just draw it in by will,I have been storing energy in a amulet for a cople months now actualy

how did you make a amulet that gathers energy
please tell me how

When I feel I need energy, I usually meditate and that gives me what I need however there are certain crystals that aid in energy (the crystal healer in me coming out:L), I also have a wand which concentrates my energy. hope this helped, if not my mail box is always open :)
