When you have the basics

I have the basics down now I ready to cast spells but I don't know if I'm ready

start small. if you feel you've got the basics down, try a candle spell. take a candle of the corresponding colour [blue healing, white protection] charge it with energy and light it, as it burns out, visualize your intent. the the easiest way to do a spell, with a low risk of it backfiring, and it will reinforce your studies of the basics, before tackling grander spells.
