Mental Exercise

I was doing a mental exercise where you imagine a candle in front of you and you light it and blow it out and stuff like that and I put my finger in the 'fire' and then my finger flt like it was burned for a few hours after. Mostly i'm just wondering if this is good/bad/strange.

To my knowledge, this is a good thing. Elemental magic is all about channeling your energy to the elements, and sort of "becoming one" with them.

To me, it is like when I swim; I am in the water, I can feel it around me, and I can move it by splashing or kicking.

It could as well be a normal thing. We can control our body in many ways. For example, in an experiment, people were asked to intensily think tha they had a wound on their knee. In about 15 minutes, some of them had a huge flow of blood on their knee, making it turn crimson red. The brain was tricked and it sent the blood there to heal the injury. So maybe you have concentrated that much tha you tricked your mind into thinking that you actualy got burned. But i dont know, perhaps im just saying silly things ^^
