Well what I would do is figure out what kind of spell I want to make like for instance a rain spell. Learn other spells with the same goal and practice them. After you get the hang of how they did it stick to the same guidelines and just go with what feels best like a chant, ritual, ect. Its not to hard to make just as long as it comes from your heart... Meaning you really meant to make it rain

Also record others spells and record yours. If you tried making one of your own with a chant and that didnt work you can revise and create other methods but keep records.
