Spells on evil people

Hello,
Is it Ok to cast spells on evil people? I don't mean ex-boyfriends/girlfriends, your boss or anyone you may be mad at for the time being. I mean truly evil people like those who hurt innocent souls such as children or animals. Has anyone done this and are there consequences? Any advice or guidance is greatly appreciated.

It all depends on your beliefs,and yours alone.
Some paths,such as Wicca,a very popular religion,is associated with things like ''Three-Fold Law'',the belief that what ever you do comes back to you times 3.
And many other paths believe in Karma,the belief that what you do in this life will affect your next life.
Some people just believe what goes around comes around.
Just because these beliefs are popular in the witch community,doesnt mean you have to believe them.
Just think to yourself:
''Is it wrong to perform a spell on a bad person''
Its completley up to you to choose what you believe.
As for my beliefs...
There are spells that have poor moral,but that doesnt mean that something bad will happen to me.I think its totally fine.

Depends what you mean by evil!
Do you think that the German SS Troops were evil? Or were they brain-washed into believing that Jews,Gypsies,Negroes, were sub-human, and should be exterminated?
I am English, and during WW2, our armed services killed thousands of innocent people in the bombing raids over Germany; as Germany did to Britain! Were the pilots evil?
Are Americans evil, because they killed hundreds of thousands of innocent Japanese at Hiroshima and Nagasaki?
Be careful what you think of as "evil". It is not always as it seems!

Tough call. It comes down to your view. If you follow the Wiccan Rede, it would be how you define it. I do know some Wiccans who belief if they are attacked first then as self defence its fine. I once cast on someone, but they cursed me, so I sent it back to them.

As Brysing mentioned its your definition of 'evil'. Say what you want about WW2 there was a lot of advances in medicine and technology as a result of very evil means.

Ask yourself this question, as you're the one who has to live with the results.

This is only my personal opinion, but I believe that the only time you should use magic in an offensive manner is if you are under psychic attack by another person/entity. If you used magic as a means to get revenge, then karma or the wiccan rede might come back on you. That is, if you believe in it. But honestly, it's all up to you and what you think is right. Follow your path in the way you see fit, but be careful.

In my opinion, when we live in an unfair world where the innocent are easily hurt and justice is being ignored, you can seek for your own rights.

I rarely use curses or spells to harm someone. I only use them if someone hurts me. I do not harm unless I'm harmed and I don't fear karma to be honest as everyone else mentioned, it boils down to your own belief and there's nothing wrong with purifying someone from the harm they've done. After all that's what karma does.

If you feel that's right then perform the spell but if you feel you are going to regret it, don't even bother to try. You need a strong willpower for doing something like that.

It might be a good idea to stay away from hexes and curses. I used to just ask the Deities to take care of it and make sure Justice is served. Binding is also a good idea. Other all, Karma always wins. If the person doesn't get whats coming to them in this life, they will in the next.
