my first spell

Hey guys since im a beginner I wanna cast my first spell what would you recommend?

My first was a ward that utilized dark and light energy and called a spirit to choose being a guardian of said area for the time that the ward is up.

Simple spells to start out with are more of realizing that mundane acts can reflect spiritually (most people call this sympathetic magick). Wrap a ribbon around a poppet to bind, sweep to get rid of negative energy, wave steam through a room to cleanse, etc. The possibilities are endless if you're not trying to break the laws of physics.

Can you recommend anything specific I really haven't cast spells except burning incense in my house and salt for protection so im kinda at a lost here :/

That really depends on what you want to try. Also keep in mind that occult practices encompass more than spells.

I like white magic spells no black magic spells I dont wanna cause harm maybe protection or defense spells?something that I can notice happen

Learn to "control" empathy, cause quite honestly its extremely useful skill to have both for daily life and for spell work, not to mention its much more versatile than people give it credit for.

How about a cleansing spell to cleanse the area your working magick in . cleansing is very important and should be done regularly on your magickal tools and work space it;s a good habit to get into from the start ^.^

How do I get my power to cast spells

First of all before you cast a spell, take the time to get to know what you are doing. Do the theory....the work you put into understanding why you are doing what you are doing during a spell...will go a long way towards ensuring that when you cast a spell...it is actually successful - learn how to cast a circle, learn the role of the elements in casting a circle, learn what the candles you are lighting are for, learn about intention and state of mind....and of course you may also learn how to write you own spells.
