Crystal tip wands

I have been making wood wands for almost a year, and the other day I was approached by someone wanting a wand with a crystal tip. I was wondering what are a few good ways to attach the crystal without using chemically produced glues and unnatural things. The crystal is a little wider than the tip of the wand so keep that in mind.

I have some natural clay wood filler in my shop. If i drill out a little bit of the tip, mold the clay in the hole, and seat the crystal in the clay wood filler would it hold?

No because epoxy is a chemical compound and you would be altering the shape and structure of the crystal.. i have worked with wood almost my entire adult life and i use crystals in alot of my spells. A water based putty would n't alter the makeup of the wood and crystal but only works on flat smooth surfaces...i would suggest twisting and braiding a very small gauged wire around them to attach together

I have a crystal tipped wand made by a friend of mine who used resin to attach citrine to the wood. You could also carve out a space to put the crystal inside and then use small nails (safely, I should add) to fasten a cover piece that can also be used as a form of protection from wayward energies you'd be directing with the wand.

You can always use some natural glue made from tree sap.
You only have to gather some sap melt it and mix it with ground wood ashes(best for wood to be rich with sap, because that gives that grease and sticky ash), the "glue" is black and may stink a little and must be applied while still hot(leave it to cool down for 24h to be safe). But it will hold pretty well.
