Over the years I've read some wiccan books...most suggest avoiding revenge spells...and I agreed till now. I am the legal guardian of my almost 3 yr old grandson and his mother has reopened the case and is trying to regain custody...he was taken from her at eight months old. DCF just wants to be done with this and seems to be on her side....even though she has a long history of substance abuse and violence. She is almost 40 and not likely to change! Now they have granted her weekend visits since she lives in the same house as her mother(owned by mother's married boyfriend's family). My son is also a substance abuser...really went down hill after becoming involved with her and is now in jail....she attacked him and he called 911 but since she had a busted lip...they were both bleeding...and he is a big guy he went down. Cops were some her lapdance clients when she worked as a dancer BTW. Can I bind her from false testimony....put a truth spell on her? I am so worn down from stressing over my grandson's safety I can't think clearly and first and foremost want him protected! She used to leave him in the car while she went in to drink with buddies...I was told after I got Jacob by guys who know her... she also passed out at the wheel and hit the building where my son was living (during a breakup) but the police convenienty lost the paperwork! His neighbor told me about it...he was the one who called the police when he heard the crash. She has gotten away with so much and I want her to pay...but am trying to think rationaly...thought some feedback might help me work thru this mess!
Not the best of introductions...so here about me...I'm a licensed massage therapist and Reiki Master, although I seldom get people interested in energywork. Most of my clients like deep tissue for pain management and some simply draw the Reiki thru me. Since moving to Sarasota from Islamorada my clientle is different and my circle of friends smaller...not much time to do for myself. My elderly mother moved here about 7 years ago and I had to put her into a nursing home about a year and half ago...for her safety. My three year old grandson lives with me currently and hopefully for good. Used to read a lot about shamanism...and about the Celtic ways and still am drawn to that, but not limited. Asked when I was very young, grade school, to be of service to the world. Wanted to grow up and heal people...make life better for and help others. Still feel that need but have been a bit burnt out for a long while and know my energy is off. A lot of family issues, stress can do that. Miss living on an island too!
Trust me when I say I feel for your situation. I've been there. And I constantly worry I'll be there again. However everyone deserves a 2nd chance everyone has the ability to change. Most of the time DCF is very good at what they do. Of course they do not always see the things they should and everyone involved should be extra causious for the child's sake..... just try to give a little find out if she has gotten help and stays on track. I come from a line of recovering addicts abx alcoholics. People can surprize you and change their lives completely. But its hard to take a chance like that when innocent lives are at stake. I feel your pain. I know this is hard. I send peace and blessings your way.

If you like Celtic deities, I suggest calling upon Lugh in this situation to help you with the circumstances. Someone like Brigit would be good to protect the child. Two separate rituals. Two separate altars/offerings.
If you aren't comfortable with that, then choose the higher beings that you do feel comfortable with. Raphael and Metatron would be my pick of angels if you resonate with them better. As a healer, you may.
Be sure to give the higher being a bridge. That's what the altars are for. It's a way for you and them to connect without needing to have a whole new ceremony. Always be sure whichever two you call get along before you call them. Otherwise you may create more problems. I recommend having two, one for the legal side and one for guarding the child. It's more clear cut work that way.
It's best to leave this sort of work in the hands of a spirit because they are aware of more than you are.
When working with spirits, always give them credit, always give them thanks. Always pick spirits who's "job" it is to do what you're asking. In this way you are showing them work they already have all the authority to get involved in. If nothing occurs, then you should perform divination on it, because it's possible the deity/angel/saint/etc whatever you called, denied your request. Yes, they can do that. This is why I always ask for a sign during the ritual and will continue to petition until I get it. Give it heart, cry if you feel the need to. Explain your reasons. They generally try harder when you give them reason to become emotionally attached. That's why it's important to do your research and know what to say. Even then sometimes it's by trial and error.
For instance, when I called upon Brigit for the sake of a child, I made the mistake of asking for the sake of the parents first. I felt immediate disdain and felt her energy leaving. She apparently didn't like them or considered her only duty involving the baby. I had to revise my words quickly and after about 30 minutes received my sign that she would comply. She did a phenomenal job so I still stand by her work.
It's important to keep tabs on the situation and continue some form of prayer and offering (like burning a candle when you're home and awake) until results you desire are reached. How would you like to be working hard and the one that asked you doesn't even acknowledge your continued assistance? I'd be frustrated and leave! Many people think that one ceremony is enough, and for quick fixes it usually is, but in long term situations like the one you're in, there is no fast solution.

When it comes to "revenge" when you get higher beings with a lot of heart involved, the results could be drastic if it's as bad as you say. When they get upset, they don't play.

She was doing better for a couple of months but her sponser is 800 miles away, she dislikes AA meetings, and she got back on pain pills with opiates plus stuff for anxiety and depression...four or five heavy duty pills and I hear she is drinking...even during the day...gin mixed in her juice to fool her mother and co-workers. She's 39 and has a long track record of destruction of property...taking a shovel to my car smashing the windwhield to bits...I had loaned it to my son...and the father of her 10 year old son (who has custody of him) told me how she took a baseball bat to his house...computer, tvs, walls, destroyed it all and the cop who showed up turned out to be a lapdance client of hers. She wasn't arrested that time either. Attacking people...put a cigarette out on my son's neck...yeah, and the sad thing is he kept going back to her! SO while I prayed for her to change, recover, and bought them both a lot of books on recovery...she has shown signs this past month of slipping right back. She is excellent at pretending.
Thank you Whiterav3n! I wil sleep on it and decide which to choose. I have done work with angels in the past...and Brigit is a favorite but I have not dig deep on her...how to work with her. Essential oils, crystals and gemstones, color magic....my usual go to. But this requires something stronger and where I feel I am being aided by a higher being, not just vibrations and sympathic magick. Jacob means the world to me...my only blood grandchild, have three others by marriage. He deserves a chance at life! Brightest Blessings!
