Instead of just us answering no and you taking our word for it, I would recommend defining what you understand about shape and how that could shift. "By magic!" Is a very broad idea, that maybe thinking in more detail about it would define much better.
Shape shifting is not possible your body can not change its shape. The bone structure will not allow that. You can how ever shift while in the astral plane for you are pure energy in energy and can do as you please with no physical setbacks

Shape Shifting is possible scientifically speaking from all points of view, but if you are talking about Harry Potter transfiguration... no, that is just very beautiful and nice fantasy created to entertain us all:) But shape shifting is theoretically possible because everything is formed from atoms, so if you can rearrange the atoms, you can change the shape of things. That is pure theory, of course, but there are certain shape changing that can be done in laboratories.
Physically shape shifting isn't possible. you can change your form in the astral and you can do what has been called a mental shift but that's it. best of luck.

Mental shifting is when your brain thinks you are something else. Like a animal for example. Its happened to me once. Think of it like this, a cat is raised by a dog. In form its still a cat in form, but a dog in nature. Thats a mental shift.
