Magic spell components

Hi, my name is Dark Magister just call me True I'm new. I was wondering what are some components to spell casting?

Confidence in yourself and belief in the magick you perform. But before you start with any spells, you need to take some time to learn the basics and the fundamentals of how magick works. Magick is not like what you see on Harry Potter and there are limits. Start looking in to energy work and meditation for very beginning training. I'm open to answer more questions.

First you might want to study a bit first. Learn what is magick and what is not magick. And what can be achieved through magick and what cannot be achieved through magick. Just the basics etc.

Once you are ready to start casting spells, try to stick with simpler ones. Make sure you believe and as SummerDragon said, you must have confidence in yourself. If your intentions are morally right according to you, then dont doubt your intentions. And don't forget to have the determination to try try again (I know cliche, but it's true) and of a spell fails the first time, don't be afraid to cast it again.

What I mean by what is magick and what isn't is this: If it is anything having to do with fantasy or mythical creatures or beings, that's not magick. For example, you cannot transform yourself into another animal or object through magick. Also, if a spell sounds too far fetched, then it it most likely wont work.
