I want to know if you have any spells that I can use to protect me from negative energies and negative thoughts before I am using spells and magic.

A simple but very effective protection spell can be used whilst you are actually performing your other spells and magick.

Take a blue candle, hollow out the bottom (up to about 1 inch) and fill the base of the candle with 1 pinch of the following.

Pepper
Flour
Tobacco
Salt

Also, at least one of the following herbs must also be used or more if you wish. Just 1 pinch.

Eyebright
Mallow
Mugwort
Saint Johns Wort
Vervain
Wormwood

When you have added the ingredients to the bottom of the candle, stuff some of the wax back into the bottom and heat gently to keep the herbs inside.

When you are ready to perform any magick or spells, place the candle somewhere in the room, where it is in view but not in the way of other candles you may be using for your spell. Light the candle and it will protect you during all spell workings and magick.

When you have finished your spell working, extinguish the candle and keep in a safe place for the next time it is needed. Keep using the same candle until it has burned down and then make another one.
