Dandylions have many uses. The flowers can be used to make a refreshing drink. Pick the flowers at night when they are closed. The root is good for many illnesses especially good for the liver;the milky juice of the root, not the entire root. You can eat the leaves in a salad; they add a little bitter "kick"
If the Lavender bush gets too big trim it! Cut some of the blooms and dry them. Put into little cloth bags they can make your wardrobe smell like Summer!
You should dry some lavender. I use it In baths to make it smell lovely. You can also keep your pillow cases in a sealed bag for a few days with lavender, they make your room smell nice when you put them on your bed and should help you sleep better.
Dandelion can be made into tea and it helps with a lot of problems. Muscle aches, joint pain and stomach pains. And when made into a paste it helps with bruises and eczema.
Lavender is a very calming and soothing herb. It's great for sleep troubles- my mother used to have a lavender scented pillow. Too much could be overpowering, though. Also, English lavender is a lot stronger aromatically than French lavender, which is much more mild.
Dandelions are a good diuretic (urine inducer)- in some countries, it is sold medically for this purpose. As Brysing said, they are good for the liver and the leaves in salads. In addition, the leaves have many vitamins: Vitamin A, C, Potassium, Calcium, and Iron. The white 'milk' can also treat warts. Metaphysically, dandelions represent clarity and illumination.
As always, be cautious with any herbs you use. If you have sensitive skin or allergies you should check if using these herbs would be appropriate.
For tea and coffee, it would really depend on the type of tea. But coffee is known for being a stimulant. It can become addictive. My mother always said it helped with nightmares, but perhaps that is just an old wives' tale! Apparently you can treat cellulite with it, but apart from that I don't know much else.

Also, if you are going to ingest any plants be certain they have not been sprayed with pesticides as these can be poisonous. This is often the case with dandilions.
