Soul residence post mort.

I have read some articles on other websites, and books about cosmology. Some mentioned that when we die our souls detach from our bodies and travel in the astral plane to find their respective parts, the summerland or the darker/ lower part of the astral plane. How does this work with ideas like reincarnation and near death experiences where people claim to see divinity? Aren't divinities on a highier plane?

-Reincarnation is a concept that after biological death, the soul can begin a new life in a new body. The word "can" is important, since some think that it is not required for the soul to do so.

-But in my personal opinion most Near-Death Experiences are simply delusions that happens as the brain shuts down.

-Divinity is simply "the state or quality of being divine" and Divine is "of, from, or like God or a god". So I would not say it is required for stuff like that to be near the highest levels of the astral plane, but it is likely.

However reincarnation doesn't involve going to another place (nirvana) until they find enlightenment. It is like when you die it is like a metaphysical recycle immediately because children are born everyday across the world and animal as well.

Jains, hindus, and buddhists all teach about spiritual liberation to another plane after we can deal with our mortal ties (becoming enlightened).

-Then idea of reincarnation you have is not apart of the definition of reincarnation or its general concept. The general concept is "that the soul or spirit, after biological death, can begin a new life in a new body" and the definition is "the rebirth of a soul in a new body". It is not required for there to be enlightenment (or lack thereof) to be able to be reincarnated in the general concept or definition. The enlightment thing is added by a religion with that view on how it happens and its requirements.
Jains, hindus, and buddhists are all religions (I'm fairly sure at least) and can be wrong about some things.
