Embarrassed but I need he

Hello everyone it's been along time since I've posted here now and I'm really sorry. Now this may seem gross but I've had a nasal issue, a very bad one. Its allergy season so my nose has been stuffy then runny etc but now there is a searing painful dried up substance around my nostrils and it hurts so bad. Its like what babies get around theirs and barely touching my nose causes it to bleed severely, yes I have seen a doctor and no meds have worked. I've also Vaseline products as well as hot and cold rags. Does anyone here know of anything to help? I can't even sleep at night because this hurts so much :(

I have actually had issues similar to the one described. I found that steam treatments help to soften and loosen the dried material both in the nose and throughout the sinuses for removal. Do this at least twice daily, soon after waking and just before bed. You can use just hot water or you can add essential oils to the hot water such as eucalyptus, peppermint, and lemon. These oils may also help decrease the body's production of mucus as an allergic reaction. You can blow your nose or use a cotton swab to help remove the material. Next you can use an ointment or salve to help protect and promote healing of the raw areas. You can use neosporine or any other healing salve that is antibacterial. Simply apply to a clean cotton swab and apply to the effected areas. You may find that the drainage mixes with the ointment overtime. This will keep the drainage from drying out which makes it easier to remove. Simply remove the mixture when it becomes excessive and reapply the ointment. It may take 7-10 days to heal using this method and you may have to steam treat 3-4 times a day before you start seeing improvement to the affected area or a decrease in the mucus production due to allergies. I also suggest taking an allergy medication if you have not done so already.

The steam treatments did help some thanks. And I'm not too keep on using any "miracle" products due to the fact that it's normally a waste of money.

this online sounds weird but might help?

Pungent Drink Treatment – Drinking something hot, especially if it contains ingredients that de-stuff the nasal passage, is a popular and easy way to get quick relief. Here is one recipe that has worked for many people:

1. Mix 2 teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar and a pinch of cayenne pepper powder with a quarter cup of hot water.
2. Drink it warm twice a day, both in the evening and morning.
3. You can also try adding hot salsa, horseradish, onion and crush black pepper cones.
