Get a clock, one that makes that tick tock noise. Place it in front of you and watch and listen. Realize that time is an illusion and you can slow it down. If there seems to be a longer wait between the ticks you have done it correctly.

mix your energy with the silence in between the beats of the clock, and then try to either shorten or extend these spaces, this is the basic starting block. One can reduce and break time away with enough energy, and focussed tension. You may also want to research Fotamecas and it's creation, it may give you a bit of an idea of how time works and can be distorted.

Well now you increase the space till it eventually breaks away and there is just silence, at that moment when all sound and movement completely stops you have stopped time within your perception.
