Profile pic is changing..

I don't know why, but my profile picture keeps on changin from a pic to another on certain days.

My original profile pic is a cute anime girl. But sometimes, it changes to a blurry version of another picture.

Once, it was a creepy shadow dude in a red-type background. Yesterday, it was personified's profile picture. But blurry. It usually stays for about a half hour then changes back.

Is this another glitch on SoM? Have you guys ever experienced something like this?

This has never happened to since i've joined last year so it's probably a glitch...then again I change my profile picture once a week or month so I never notice anything unusual.

Try changing your profile picture to something else and see if that fixes it.

I'll give it a try. See if it helps. But, lets say it doesn't help, could there also be the possibility that my account was hacked? That kept on crossing my mind every time it happened .-.

It could be possible someone has hacked it but for now, just keep an eye on it and see if the problem stops.

If it is definately hacked, report it to a moderator and hopefully they'll do something to help solve the problem.

This is a glitch I've ran into before. Just replace the same pic again. Then press ctrl+R to refresh the page and it should appear normally.

If you think it is hacked, change your password.

That has never happened to me. It may be a bug a glitch I don't know for sure.

Changed my profile pic, changed my pass. Lets see if that fixes the problem :P

just kidding, but maybe your account was compromised or someone else was on it/or using hacks in general to change it? Or maybe you were getting visions, triggered with the sight of a profile picture? It may or may not be telling you something, what ever you experienced.
Sounds interesting though. A few years ago I was playing Minecraft online and I know I have a strong password with all sorts of characters, and for some reason my skin was changing.
Just be carefull on what networks you use and who you interact with over the internet, some hackers are elusive or they are more present and they can be very much an annoying and frustrating hassle depending on their own mission and why they are hacking and changing things without your consent or knowledge
be safe! If something else happens and its worse, i would suggest looking into safer means of daily communication or looking into a VPN or internet proxy or what ever will provide a barrier between the network and your computer since sometimes there will be no server, and its face-to-face ( computer-to-computer )

Personnaliy, I think it was a glitch since I was not the only one that could see the changed profile picture. I asked a couple :P

That, and, when I was talking to my friend, the same thing happened to her profile picture (though she never noticed. It wasn't visible when you looked on her profile. Only when you get mail..). She had the personnified profile picture, same as me, but in black and white. Told her about it, she didn't know what I was talking about.

So, I'm assuming it was just an annoying glitch.
