help please

Hello, I'm Angela. I've been pagan for around 17 years, I still hv questions and I'm hoping someone here can help. Let me start off by saying that I went into a coma in 200 Was on life support for 28 days. I lost pieces of my memory. Other than that I'm fine. I'm needing help with my b.o.s. its very unorganized and my handwriting is in the English alphabet and the theban script. Would someone explain to me the proper way to create a b.o.s.? Like Wut exactly is a b.o.s. created to help with?

A Book of Shadows need not be an actual book! Mine is a collection of notebooks gathered for many years. Think of a BoS as a Journal, a Diary, with a difference. The difference is that you might add all sorts of "Scraps and Shavings", little pictures,photographs, anything that is of interest to you now, that you may look on in later years and say,"Oh,I remember that!".
But mostly a BoS is a journal of the magic in your life; and the many things you will learn about it throughout a lifetime.

I advise against using theban since a lot of the letters look too similar, plus they take a long time to write and is not a good way to keep information secret. There are smartphone apps like evernote and google docs you can use to store information and stay organized a lot better than with pen and paper.

I wrote my first book by hand and always wanted to rearrange things as time went on. I ran out of space and started another book, this time I decided to use a 3 ring binder. Its not very pretty, but I can make mistakes without feeling like the whole book is ruined, and I can rearrange all I want. And in time, I can use that as a template to hand write another pretty book.
