Properties of Marijuana?

How can it be used for Higher states of consciousness?
Can it cleanse bad energy like sage?
What are the possibilities?

I've actually never heard of pot being used at all with witchcraft, but who knows, some one else might have. .____.

I myself have never heard of marijuana used in witchcraft so I did a little reading for your sake, Since Marijuana can cause hallucinations, calm the body, and alter your perception of reality, it may be used in some practices or during select rituals/workings. However, Marijuana is not a core aspect of Witchcraft. I have heard of people smoking before some rituals and some even beiges medatating.

Never heard of Marijuana used in witchcraft? It was once used a great deal in healing! It was used to ease the aches and pains of old age. It was used to treat "the shaking sickness" (Parkinson's Disease). It was used for much "soothing" after surgery. (No anaesthetics in the old days!).
In witchcraft the wild herb was eaten, not smoked; although some people did smoke it,even in ancient times. But Opium was the preferred "dope" for smoking.

First of all I do not suggest anyone to go for marijuana therapy.
I am writing this just to share information here, The state after smoking marijuana is onself the higher state of consciousness, you'll just sought to put yourself out in deep meditation, to know energy blockage and how to heal them and it can only be done with perfect guidance, many people uses psychic, empath abilities after smoking it. but excess and regular use may damage your body from inside and even doctors cant understand what is going on. So if you are going to meditate afer smoking dope use once in 6 months and let yourself get more aware of energy everytime you uses it and make a long list of meditation before using it.
And do only 2-3 puff thats enough and do not do it without proper guidance. Remeber that herb is just to taste not eat(I mean dont get into its trap just 2-3 puffs make you ready for meditation) and don't forgot to take proper intervals. And once again I will not suggest anyone to go for it. And remember it can only used for knowing energy, but can't be used for remove bloackages you'll out to come out back from its effect to remove the blockage, any practise to remove blockage in that state will make the situation worse.

Aditya, I don't think you understand Marijuana at all!
Marijuana (Cannabis) has many medicinal qualities. It is used by the Medical Profession for many ailments. It is in constant research for more uses of the Cannaboids that are in the plant.
It was certainly used in witchcraft to ease pain.

The Medical Profession does use Marijuana and the chemical compounds for many different conditions. Although it's prescribed in a form to smoke. As a liquid it can help control seizure disorders when no other conventional medication works. There is a compound used from Marijuana that is given to patients receiving chemo to help stimulate their appetites and counteract their nausea.

Brysing, you are right that it is used for easing pain, healing and even it is used for calming down mind, and as anesthetic in old time. But, what in my last post(post #5) makes you say that I dont understand Marijuana at all? Marijuana also helps in knowing energy blockage but excess amount of use can make memory weak and damages liver, brain cells that is why people feel headaches, I brlieves so please help me if I am wrong.

Adjata, it was in the first sentence of your post. You say you wouldn't suggest it for therapy. Then you say "one or two puffs", that would have no effect at all! Have you ever smoked it?
I've smoked it, eaten it, both leaf and resin; and at one time I even grew it! I've had the giggles, and the munchies, and every other effect of the plant! But I haven't used it for years!
