Satanism devil worship?

Not in terms of christian but in terms of magick which satan is the christian devil.
By the way do you need infinite intelligence, imagination and complete understanding to the universe to reach divinity, which human should not be capable of?

And what about church of satan. They clearly said they worship the christian devil.
And the creator is neither god or christian devil. Why would one bother with human of such insignificance.

I suppose there are some that feel they should worship Satan, as silly as that is. Satanism and devil worship are two separate things, but you can be both. As long as you understand the difference between them.
Satanism is the fundamental belief of personal growth and or power over anything else.
Devil worship is just that. The deification and worship of said being. Usually in the form of the Christian Satan/Lucifer, but not always.

I disagree because before laVey came along Satanism was about the worship of the Devil as a literal being as well as self empowerment and spiritual advancement!

I've also seen Satan worshippers calling themselves Luciferians. Chances are if you worship Lucifer you're probably also a Satanist, because Lucifer puts such a high value on freedom and self will.

Not all theistic satanists see Lucifer/Satan as the "True god." Some see God as the creator and Lucifer as the one who rebelled against the rule of God in Heaven.

People have different ideas about what reaching divinity means. Some people say it takes several consecutive lives to do that.
